Microbiological tests

We test materials, components, and products for their resistance to microbial influences. Mold fungi can damage carbon-containing materials such as plastics, impairing their appearance, function, and mechanical properties. Furthermore, this can lead to hygienic and health risks.

Our range of services in the field of microbiological resistance testing includes:
- Cultivation of relevant moulds under controlled conditions
- Defined exposure of test samples under standardized climatic conditions
- Assessment of infestation and subsequent professional decontamination.

We offer these tests acc. to, among others, the following standards and procedures:
- Electronics: DIN EN 60068-2-10, BMW GS 95003-5, MIL-STD 810 (Method 508), RTCA/DO-160 (Section 13)
- Plastics: DIN EN ISO 846
- Optics/Photonics: DIN ISO 9022-11
