In Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM), thermoplastic material is applied layer by layer and built up precisely according to digital CAD data. This tried-and-tested additive manufacturing process is particularly suitable for functional technical components and large-scale structures. Thanks to our large-format 3D printing systems, we can produce components, enabling even extensive and complex geometries to be efficiently realised without tooling costs. This makes large-format 3D printing particularly attractive for companies that require rapid iteration cycles or wish to produce small batches cost-effectively. The Aero2 PCS® ULTRA ULTRA Versatile Dry Ice Blaster. The Aero2 PCS ULTRA is the most versatile dry ice blasting machine on the market. Equipped with our patented particle control system (PCS®), this machine offers operators complete control of the particle size being blasted to fine-tune their blasting parameters for each unique application. From 0.3mm to 3.0mm, and every tenth of a millimeter between, this machine allows operators to select from 1 of 28 particle sizes to dial in their blasting parameters for optimal performance. Blasting a delicate surface? Select a smaller particle size, say 0.4mm, and blast at a lower pressure. Looking to remove stubborn contaminant? Artificial weathering is used to accelerate the replication of natural solar and environmental influences. Materials are exposed to precisely defined light and climatic conditions in order to simulate photochemical ageing processes under laboratory conditions. This allows changes such as loss of colour and gloss, embrittlement or cracking to be assessed at an early stage, enabling a reliable evaluation of long-term durability.
