Successful sampling in the field of IM labeling

For us, innovation means testing new technologies early on and developing them further in a targeted manner. In recent months, we have been intensively involved with the in-mold labeling (IML) process and have conducted initial samples and tests – with very positive results. With IML labeling, the label is inserted into the mold during the injection molding process and permanently bonded to the plastic. The tested components were particularly impressive due to their high-quality appearance, scratch resistance, and process stability. Currently, the process is still in the evaluation phase at KTR. However, the successful tests provide a promising foundation for potential future investments. We will keep you informed of further developments.
