All-in-one testing solutions – LUW of TZO Leipzig GmbH expands its portfolio
The accredited testing laboratory LUW, part of TZO Leipzig GmbH, is significantly expanding its range of testing services, with a particular focus on enhancing its capabilities in plastics testing for industry and research.
The long-accredited Laboratory for Environmental Testing and Materials Testing (LUW) of TZO Leipzig GmbH has significantly expanded its services in the field of plastics testing. In a three-day audit, the laboratory team successfully convinced DAkkS of the quality and performance of its work.
"Expanding our range of services is an important step in the further development of our testing laboratory. This strengthens our expertise and lays the foundation for sustainable growth in existing and new markets." explains Dr. Thomas Krümmling, Managing Director of TZO Leipzig GmbH.
TZO Leipzig GmbH is a medium-sized service provider for surface technology with approximately 150 employees. Its core business includes technical and decorative coating processes for aluminum and its alloys, as well as systems for paint, powder, and electrostatic insulating coating.
The LUW, as an independent testing and analysis laboratory, complements the service portfolio along the value chain.
As part of this strategic expansion, the LUW team has grown from 6 to 11 employees. To this end, the company made targeted investments in modern testing technology to respond more flexibly to customer requirements and offer additional testing options.
A significantly expanded range of plastics testing services is now available. This includes a wide variety of methods, including mechanical, thermal, and electrical tests.
"With these additional tests, we can better address the needs and requirements of our customers." says Laboratory manager Dr. Frank Erler. The existing portfolio of LUW services remains unchanged and will continue to be offered at a high level of quality. This includes, among others, climate simulations, corrosion and corrosive gas testing, IP protection ratings, mechanical-dynamic load tests and tests for mold and chemical resistance.
